Brian’s Journal

Monday, April 30th   (written in class)

Kelly looked downright amazing in her new outfit.  Well, actually, she’d probably look downright amazing wearing almost anything.  Today featured a nicely fitting black tank-top that showed off her incredible upper body, and a short mini skirt that showcased her perfect legs.

“Hey Brian!” she yelled out, giving me a hug and quickly lifting me into the air.

“You grew again didn’t you?”

“Yup!  5’10”!” she proudly exclaimed.  Her muscles didn’t appear bigger though.

“I like your new clothes!” I complimented.

“Thanks!  I really want to get something nice like a dress, but we decided to wait until I stop growing.” she cheerfully explained.

I could only imagine how long until she stopped growing.  Would she ever stop growing?  I was finally getting used to her being taller… but… what if she became like as tall as a building?  Even though we weren’t officially in a relationship, I still really like Kelly a lot.  I just hope she doesn’t get so big that a relationship would be physically impractical.

“So uh, how are you people reacting?”  I asked.

“It’s been great!  All the girls ask to feel my muscles and say they want to work out too, and tons of guys are constantly hitting on me…”  She could practically sense my jealousy “though I’m really not interested in them when I’ve got my number one fan!” she smiled reassuringly.

I smiled back “Thanks, that really means a lot to me” I stated sincerely.

“Coming to the gym today?” She asked. “I need to train extra hard for the festival tomorrow!”

“Sure thing.”  I’ve mentally gotten to the point where I realize that going to the gym is actually about watching how much more Kelly can do since last time. I’ve… found a strange kind of internal peace now that I’m no longer trying to compete with her.

She gave me another hug and we parted ways for class.

Monday April 30th  (written at home)

I guess those girls Kelly inspired didn’t want to use the school gym after class.  Oh well, I’ve come to be extremely grateful that we’re the only two that use the place after school.  As usual, Kelly ran up and gave me a big hug, and, to both my enjoyment and embarrassment, a kiss on the forehead.

“So, I have a special request for my number one fan!”  she announced.  “I want you to measure me.” she took a tape measure from her bag.

“It’d be my pleasure!” I responded, taking the measure.

She was 5’10” tall, with impressive 36-24-39 bust-waist-hip measurements.  Her biceps came up to just a little over 14″, and her quads were 22″ of pure power.

“Not too shabby, huh?” she asked, beaming with pride at the numbers

“You’re definitely the buffest girl in the school…” I replied

“Yeah, but I need to be buffer than all the guys too!  Not just in the school, in the whole world.” She was completely serious.  “Tomorrow’s my first real test.  I need to win as many events as possible, so no goofing around today.”  And with that she made her way over to the trusty dumbbells.

Unsurprisingly, Kelly was even stronger than the last time we came here.  Last Thursday curling 50 lb weights was an accomplishment.  Today she easily pumped out repetitions with 55 lb dumbbells, and after a short rest upped it to 60 per arm.  Finally, she completed a few repetitions with 65 lb dumbbells and finished.

“Ugh, I can’t believe that Big Jim can curl 80 lbs with one arm. Not to mention world class bodybuilders who can lift over 100 with one arm.” Kelly seemed disappointed.

“You’ll be stronger than them in a couple weeks probably…” I tried to reassure her.

“Probably even sooner than that.” she affirmed. “But I have to beat Big Jim in arm-wrestling tomorrow!  Anyways, I can’t chat too much, sorry!” she said, hastily making her way over to the bench press, where she loaded up 250 lbs and easily performed 8 repetitions.  My jaw practically dropped at this feat, the last time I saw her bench pressing was when she first started off at a mere 75 lbs.

The rest of the gym visit was strictly business.  I more or less watched as Kelly undergo the full pantheon of exercises.

Before we left, I asked her “Do you feel odd having me just… watch you?”

She shook her head “Nope.  I actually enjoy it a lot, especially since it’s you!”

With that we hugged and parted ways for the day.

Tuesday, May 1st

I’m absolutely speechless.  I knew Kelly was strong, but her athletic prowess is downright intimidating.

Per tradition of who knows how long, May 1st  (or the first school day after May 1st) was our annual Central City High Athletic Festival.  There are only three events – running, archery and arm-wrestling.  The founders of the school believed that these three events best represent practical athletic skills.  Something about running and archery being great survival skills, and arm wrestling being a true test of physical dominance.  Everyone has always thought the reasoning is a little wonky, especially for a school in a city, but tradition is tradition and we go along with it.  The events are unisex, and often the boys dominate the games.  However, sometimes a girl wins running or archery.  No girl has ever won arm-wrestling before, and nobody has won all three events in the same year.

The first event was running.  Simply put it was a no frills race around the basketball court.  The first to complete 20 laps, roughly a mile, was the winner.  Since the events are held in front of the entire school, only a dozen or so kids felt confident enough to compete, so space wasn’t an issue.

As the competitors lined up, I couldn’t help but notice how tall Kelly was now.  She was 5’10” yesterday, and probably an inch taller today given her growth rate the past week.  While she wasn’t the tallest person there, she towered over most of the other girls and even some of the guys.  An even starker contrast was how incredibly powerful her legs looked compared to the competition.

Immediately after the race started, Kelly’s powerful legs propelled her to the lead.  She remained there by a small margin for the first few laps.  Soon, the other competitors started to lose speed, started to get a little tired.  Kelly on the other hand seemed to be getting faster.  The distance between her and the second place competitor continuously widened over time.  By the 14th lap, she fully lapped the competition, to the crowd’s, and judges’ complete disbelief.  After 17 laps she had fully lapped the competition two times… and she finished the mile having lapped everyone a total of three times.  The rest of the competitors looked downright ashamed as they had to complete three whole laps without the possibility of victory.

Next up was Archery.  It always struck me as a little odd that archery was one of the three events of our athletic festival.  It also seemed kind of  dangerous that students were allowed to use full-on Olympic recurve bows at a high school sports festival, but nobody has ever been hurt so I guess it’s fine.  The tradition has always been each student fires from 70 meters away and gets 5 shots.  After the score is totaled, the student may opt for a redo, but they must keep the second score, regardless of if it’s higher or lower.

Not many students practiced archery extensively, so there wasn’t too much hype for the event.  Regardless, Kelly seemed fired up, wanting to win as many events as possible.  As other competitors took their rounds, the majority of the crowd dozed off.  Kelly eagerly studied their every move.  Only when Wil, the reigning champion from last year stepped forward did the crowd start to care.  He finished off with 40 points, nothing that a professional would write home about, but for a bunch of Central City High students, it would probably be the best score this year.

A few more competitors finished, and at last it was Kelly’s turn.  At first Kelly only managed to hit the middle ring, giving her 5 points.  She seemed devastated by her performance.  After a moment, she took a deep breath and fired again.  7 points.  She redoubled her concentration. 9 points.  Two effortless perfect bulls-eyes followed.  41 points total.  The crowd was in disbelief.  Out of seemingly nowhere, this girl came in and scored high enough, barring a freak incident, to win. Kelly opted to take her redo.

The second time Kelly had no problems at all.  Bulls-eye followed bulls-eye as she effortlessly scored a perfect 50, the first in Central High School history.  For the first time, ever, every student in the bleachers was cheering over archery.  Kelly rushed over to me, absolutely beaming.

“Holy shit Kelly!” I exclaimed “Since when do you do archery?”

Kelly let out a laugh “That was my first time!”

“But how…?” was all I could manage in response.

“Well… my vision’s gotten freakishly good.  I can see greater detail in everything nearby, and can clearly see things way farther than before.  Sooo, while the others were shooting, I was able to see every nuance of what they were doing, able to see what they did when they scored well and when they scored poorly.  Plus I had a really easy time spotting the target.” she explained, rather nonchalantly. “In fact… my eyes are even sharper now than a few moments ago” she stated, staring across the room “I can read Maria’s cell phone from here…”

“Kelly, she… has to be at least 50 yards from here…”  I responded in total disbelief

Kelly squinted a bit “Yeah, and she’s sending a text to her boyfriend from out of town about my perfect archery score ” she stated matter-of-factly.

“You really are becoming a super human, huh?” I asked dazedly.

“I can sense that you like this concept a lot” she teased while winking.

I blushed a bit and nodded.

“Lately I’ve been able to sense other people’s general feelings.”  she continued smiling “so now I know when you’re turned on without even having to look down there.” she giggled a bit as my face grew slightly redder.  “Sounds like they’re about to start arm-wrestling!” she announced, excited for another chance to prove her dominance.

“Huh?”

“Oh, I just simply overheard the director over there telling the announcer to start announcing” she pointed to a man in a suit on the other side of the room quietly speaking to the announcer.  “Guess I gotta remember that you don’t have super senses.” she explained patting me on the head.

Right on cue, arm-wrestling was announced, and the staff began to quickly set up the arm wrestling tables.  The Central High Arm-Wrestling Champion Trophy was arguably the most coveted prize the school had to offer.  While it offered no practical real world application, almost every boy dreamed of winning it.  Nothing else really screams sheer physical dominance than a trophy saying you beat everyone else in the school at arm wrestling.  Of course, some girls wish they could win, but biology is unfair, and no girl has never even gotten past the first couple rounds of the tournament.

This year featured 32 entrants to the arm wrestling tournament, resulting in 5 total rounds.  The competition followed the arm-wrestling standard rules, and each round was best two out of three.
Even though Kelly outclassed me completely, I still felt pretty good about the progress I’ve made, so I entered.  My first round was against Brad, that guy who always bullied me in middle school.  I took him down pretty handily, which felt pretty good, and secured my advancement to the next round.  I glanced across the room and saw Kelly easily destroy her opposition.

The next round was against some guy I’ve never met before.  It was pretty tough, but I managed to eke out a victory.  Unsurprisingly, Kelly also beat her opponent.  I glanced over at the match-up chart ,all of the females aside from Kelly had been eliminated from the tournament.  I found who I was up against next,  and felt my heart sink.  Kelly was my next challenger.  She strode over with a big grin on her face.

“Ready to show me how a man arm-wrestles?” she asked, teasingly.

I audibly gulped and we locked our right hands together.  Even this simple motion caused her bicep to swell up in response.  There was a staggering difference between our arms;  hers looked (and were) much, much harder, and had well over 2 more inches than mine in size.  They were even significantly longer than mine.  A hint of playful malice filled her eyes, and she gave my hand a light squeeze, instantly crushing it in the process.

“Ready?”  she asked.  I nodded and we began.  I pushed with all of my might, and couldn’t budge her at all.  Kelly simply held me there, reveling in her absolute dominance.  She playfully yawned, and examined the nails on her left hand.  I pulled and pulled but couldn’t make any progress whatsoever.  Kelly went as far as to reach down and grab her trusty metal water bottle and took a long gulp of protein shake.  She gave me a wink, and right before my eyes the super protein caused her muscles to grow an inch from the slight strain I provided.  After toying with me some more, she casually brought my arm down.  When it came time for our left arms, Kelly immediately brought me down while letting out a playful giggle.

We were down to the semi finals.  Kelly was against some big football guy, but it didn’t matter; she quickly put him down.  At last, the finals were upon us.  The annual arm-wrestling competition was already a pretty big deal, but this year was history making – a girl was in the finals.  Kelly’s competitor, was, to no-one’s surprise, Big Jim.  Another senior, Jim was the champion from last two years, and a semi finalist his freshmen year.  Each year Jim’s biceps grew larger and larger as he spent countless hours pumping iron at professional gyms.  While he had a tough but decisive victory his sophomore year, his junior year nobody could even make him budge.  This year he was even stronger.

Kelly’s face was dead serious as they locked hands.  Her biceps had to have been over 15 inches at this point, but Jim’s still looked bigger.  They started, both teens pushing with all of their might.  Slowly but surely, Jim brought Kelly down.  The girl looked devastated.  She grabbed her water bottle and downed the entire thing, filling herself with the best protein money could buy.  They locked left hands, and started again.  Jim started to bring Kelly down again, but, right before he could drag her more than halfway, her arms started growing.  Another inch of muscle was instantly added to her arms and she started to regain ground.  While Jim’s were still a bit bigger, Kelly’s were undoubtedly harder and more powerful.  Soon she had the upper hand, and brought him down, to the crowd’s complete disbelief.  The two competitors agreed to use their right hands for the deciding bout.  Very quickly and decisively, Kelly brought his hand down as every girl in the crowd roared in triumph.

For the first time in Central High School history, someone won all three events.
