1.) Immediately After Chapter 5

Soaring through the night’s sky in the arms of a brawny super-powered babe exceeded all of Josh’s expectations; and he had a lifetime of fantasies building them up.

Ready to break the sound barrier? Kristi’s voice filled Josh’s mind.

“What!? Why are you in my head again!?”

I’m just speaking to you telepathically since you wouldn’t be able to hear my voice. I can hear yours though – perk of super-senses.

“Oh… Well, will I be okay going through it?” Josh asked, nervous about the prospect of experiencing a sonic boom without the protection of an airplane.

You really think I would let my brother die from such a trivial thing? Especially while going on a flight with me that I suggested? Her voice replied with a giggle. Hearing his sister telepathically laugh in his head was extremely surreal for Josh.

“Hmm. Okay, I trust you. Not that I have a choice.” Josh yelled as best he could – though he didn’t need to yell at all; Kristi would have heard a whisper from him at this proximity, even amid the roaring gale forces.

Suddenly a green forcefield enveloped Josh. It could have been any color, but Kristi chose one that he associated with health and well-being from his years of playing video games. Josh felt even warmer – and he was already well-heated thanks to Kristi’s immense body heat. He also immediately noticed that the wind stopped lashing against his face, in fact his hair remained completely still now.

You’re literally bulletproof now. Kristi’s voice explained, Well, as long as I maintain this field. Don’t worry, my energy reserves are pretty… vast… now.

“I believe it!” Josh shouted – only to find that he was no longer impeded by the rushing wind, and his voice was contained within the forcefield, accidentally deafening himself slightly.

I can fix that too. Kristi communed.

Before he could reply, Josh felt his head warming up a bit. A moment later, the ringing in his ears subsided. In fact, what Josh didn’t know is that the small residual damage he had accumulated over the years from rock concerts, intense headphone sessions, and other various loud noises had also been cured.

“Is there anything you can’t do?” Josh asked in a normal voice, which sounded crystal clear in his protective bubble.

Kristi extended the bubble slightly over her mouth so she could speak into it, “I can’t teleport. Also I saw Balthezar condense his muscles in to his body once. Also haven’t time-traveled or resurrected the dead.”

“Yet.” Josh said.

“Yet.” Kristi agreed with a giggle.

Josh shuddered as he considered anyone having that much power, let alone his sister. He had to admit that he was coming around to the idea of Kristi being this strong, as opposed to someone else. At least with her he was 95% certain he wouldn’t be obliterated – unless she lost control of herself or something.

“You finally ready for the sonic boom?” Kristi asked.

“Uhh… Yeah I guess. Where are we going anyways?”

“I dunno, where do you wanna go?”

“How about… underwater?” Josh suggested.

“Oooh! I haven’t done that yet. Cool idea!” Kristi replied. Even behind her godlike power lay a playful teenage girl.

“Really? You have these amazing abilities, but you haven’t tried that out yet?” Josh replied.

Kristi shrugged, “Guess there’s a first time for everything. Ready to do this?”

“If you can keep me safe, yeah.”

“I’ll always keep you safe, brother.”

And with that they descended.

1.5)

Kristi and Josh were currently in the Midwest of the United States. As such, they had roughly 1,300 miles to the nearest coastline – and Kristi wanted to submerge them far from any possible boats, meaning they’d need to travel about 2,000 miles to be safe. She started to speed up, and soon broke the sound barrier. Josh closed his eyes and clung harder to his sister; while he was perfectly safe, and could have actually kept his eyes open without any issue thanks to the shield, the sensation of velocity was still overwhelming.

Kristi performed some mental math: they were currently traveling a bit over 761 miles per hour. That meant it would take over two and a half hours to reach their destination… She focused on gaining more speed, and accelerated rapidly. Kristi could sense that Josh was having some difficulties, so she focused on filling his protective shield with a form of healing energy that would help him acclimate to the velocity. It worked and he calmed down a little; Josh opened his eyes, but had to quickly shut them again at the sheer speed with which the scenery changed.

They soon approached Mach 2, which Kristi deduced was at least 1,552 miles per hour… Which would cut her ETA to the ocean in half to a little over a single hour… Still not fast enough. She kicked things up even further, and before long was approaching Mach 3 – all the while increasing the amount of energy used to keep Josh calm. But even that only cut the total time to under an hour. Kristi wanted to get there even faster, so she soon proceeded to move faster than the legendary SR-71 Blackbird, and she began to approach Mach 4.

Despite the tremendous speed she soared with, Kristi was still in relatively full control of herself, and could acutely sense everything around her. Even though she tried her best to ease Josh’s mind, he was still a nervous wreck. She reached out to him mentally: Josh… her voice called in his head, I want you to know that I’m not specifically reading your thoughts or downloading anything. But if you think loudly, as if you were trying to tell me something, I’ll be able to hear it.

Oh jeeze. I guess I don’t have much choice in the matter, do I? He thought.

You’ll just have to trust me, okay? Kristi telepathically replied. Anyways, even without telepathy I can tell this super high-speed travel is rough on you. If you’ll let me, I can bring your thoughts to a place that will totally seperate you from reality while we travel.

Like… getting high? Really, really high?

Uhm. Kristi mentally giggled, Actually, kinda… I’m talking about Astral Projection.

No fuckin’ way. I read about that stuff on the internet, but I always thought it was bull…

Oh, it’s real. Anyways, I’ve been there a few times myself – though I have to admit I’ve never tried bringing someone who is… well, you know.

Unpowered?

Yeah. But… I’m really, really good at it apparently. So I’m pretty sure it’d be a cinch for me.

Well… okay. I trust you.

Alright. Here we go.

2.)

Josh wasn’t prepared for the bombardment of colors the astral plane presented, and became slightly nauseous. It was unlike anything he could have imagined: a symphony of sights and sounds that were downright psychedelic, especially to his untrained senses.

“Try to ground yourself.” Kristi’s voice boomed from seemingly nowhere. She sounded like what he would envisioned a deity would – her voice practically surrounded and wrapped itself around him.

Josh sheepishly looked up to where the voice was coming from, then he saw it: the massive, overwhelming avatar of his sister. Kristi’s astral form was at least 50 feet tall and shone with brilliant light that hurt his eyes to look at. Kristi sensed this and tuned her aura down; Josh in turn could make out the unfathomably muscular form in front of him. There was no way around it: even here, Kristi chose to be as large and powerful as possible – her soul itself thirsted and ached for ever-greater strength.

Then it hit him: “Wait a minute… if we’re up here… then who’s controlling your body down there!?” Josh yelled.

“I am.” Kristi’s voice replied; Josh felt himself growing warm from its sonic embrace.

“You… you can do that!?”

Kristi’s avatar nodded, “Apparently so. I have to admit that this is a test-run…”

“You’re doing a test run while you’re flying with me!?”

“Err.. Yeah.” The godlike avatar still had Kristi’s teenage mannerisms.

“Kristi!”

“Oh come on. It’s all good, really. I can literally control myself in the physical realm… While I’m still here… It’s like I have two sets of sensory input at once…” She scratched her head, an unfathomably large bicep rippled in response, “This is really weird to be honest.”

“I can only imagine.”

“As much as I like being this big, it’s a bit impractical for our purposes.” Kristi said, forcing her projection down in size and stature. She settled on standing one-and-a-half feet taller than Josh – her chest three times broader than his. Her skin still shined with various colors, and was difficult for Josh to stare at for an extended period of time.

“Still gotta be so big?” He asked, gulping.

Kristi merely winked.

“Well… well now what?” Josh asked, awkwardly gazing around at the alien landscape.

Kristi shrugged. “We can do pretty much anything we want here.” She explained.

“Oh yeah?”

“Yeah.” Kristi nodded before morphing into a purple tiger with red stripes; then she transformed into a blue kangaroo; transitioned to a giant bird; then returned to her usual human form.

“Whoa…” Josh squinted his eyes and focused on transforming into a T-rex, but found that he couldn’t.

Kristi could sense what he was doing. “Don’t worry about it too much. I couldn’t do any of this stuff when I first came here.” She explained.

“I see…”

Kristi showed Josh how she could conjure and project virtually any scene in front of them. She started with generic fantasy and sci-fi settings, before recalling shared memories from her past.

Josh tried, but was unable to do the same.

After some time, Josh decided he was going to try and mend any problems between himself and Kristi.

“I want you to know the whole me.” Josh said. “Not just whatever half you’ve downloaded.”

“Are you sure?” Kristi asked.

“I am.” He nodded.

Despite the small quiver of hesitation coating his voice, Kristi could sense that he was genuine. “Alright.” She held her hand on top of his forehead (which was unneeded, and little more than symbolic in nature) and began taking the rest of his thoughts, memories, and dreams into herself.

Unsurprisingly, there was a lot of ugly and painful stuff. Weird lewd thoughts about her, even before her transformation – which Josh felt guilty about; weird lewd thoughts about… almost every female; so much negativity: insecurity, self-doubt, anger, fear, lust…

Kristi wasn’t hurt though. She had braced herself for this, and realized from her time with Edana that virtually every human being has thoughts like these. If anything, she was starting to gain a new appreciation for Josh and his ability to compartmentalize these aspects of himself.

Surely there was a positive quality of her brother’s personality that she could incorporate to better herself? Kristi went through the list of perceived character traits, and felt increasingly guilty at her inability to locate any she desired. The worst part was that Josh wasn’t a bad person, just a holder of deep flaws exacerbated by his environment.

She continued searching… But at last she found one shining gem – a genuine desire to learn – a desire that exceeded even her own.

But before she went ahead with improving herself, she decided to check with Josh.

“Hey.” She started, “So, I have the ability to… pretty much incorporate personality traits from other people that I like. For instance, I learned some more assertiveness and self-confidence from Edana.”

“Oh?”

“Yeah. Well, there’s something in here that I wouldn’t mind having myself.”

“Like, stealing?”

“No.” Kristi shook her head, “You wouldn’t lose anything. I would just also have it. But I can see that might bother you…”

“What is it?” Josh asked, gulping.

“Your desire to learn.”

“Ah… well… what would happen if you do?”

Kristi thought about it for a moment before replying, “I guess I would try to learn more stuff. Have more motivation to improve myself in that way.”

“So you’d become even better…?”

“I assume so. Yeah.”

Josh let out a sigh, “I…”

“I won’t if you don’t want me to.”

He sighed again, “Well… I feel about about being so jealous. You’re my sister after all. I’m supposed to love you. Hell, I’m supposed to protect and help you. So… if this is the only way I can, then I guess you should. It’s time I started working on my personality anyways.”

Kristi nodded. “You sure?”

“Yeah.”

A few moments later, Kristi had incorporated Josh’s love of learning into her own personality. With it came a greater drive and ambition to explore the unknown – which also meant pushing her own powers even further. Understanding that Josh had this underlying aspect of his personality helped her appreciate him more.

But before they could languish much longer in the Astral Plane, the siblings had arrived at their destination in the physical world.

3.)

As Josh awoke in the physical plane, he had another shock as he realized he was above the Atlantic ocean. Fortunately he was still held by Kristi, her immense arms effortlessly cradling him. The scent of sea salt filled his senses, and he shivered from the cold. Despite her lack of attire, not a single goosebump rose on Kristi’s immense, muscular body. She sensed her brother’s discomfort, conjured a larger energy bubble around them, and increased the temperature within it to something more pleasant.

Kristi let go of Josh, which caused him to let out a yelp, until he landed safely on the bubble’s bottom. He got up and stamped his foot a couple of times, testing its solidity, and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was just as firm as concrete.

“Ready?” Kristi asked.

Josh nodded.

Kristi descended, and with her went Josh and the bubble. They were soon submerged, and Josh likened the bubble to some kind of submarine with glass walls. It was like an aquarium, except Josh was completely surrounded by the water on all sides. He was completely and utterly dependent on Kristi to keep him safe.

They continued going deeper and deeper into the ocean. Josh stared with wonder at the various fish and other aquatic lifeforms. He looked up at his sister – her godlike body was beautifully illuminated by the traces of light from above. Every crevice of muscular perfection stood out, like a pink marble statue.

Eventually they descended so far that the scant light from the surface vanished. Kristi summoned light, illuminating the pitch darkness around them. Josh’s eyes lit up as he saw the scenery with a clarity that no other mortal ever had. Kristi on the other hand could see and sense far further than him, and was similarly amazed.

Josh caught sight of a downed boat, which surprised him since they were so far out. Kristi brought them over to it. “Damn, that thing is huge.” He said, taking in the full scope of it.

“Not that big. I could lift it easy.” Kristi said with a grin.

“No way…”

Kristi exited the bubble, leaving Josh safely protected in it, and was completely unphased by the barometric pressure and life-threateningly low temperature. She found it possible to effectively fly through the water by forcefully hovering. Kristi approached the abandoned barge. She grabbed hold of the freighter’s corner and heaved; a massive creaking rang out, audible even underwater. With a cute grunt, Kristi began picking it up, moving the entirety of the chassis upward.

How… how are you lifting this!? Josh thought towards his sister.

This thing? Kristi telepathically replied, This is no big deal, I can lift up an entirely skyscraper. One handed. Actually I’m a lot stronger now than when I could do that.

With another burst of strength she totally lifted it off of the ground, and thrust it overhead; streams of dust and debris fell off and floated towards the ocean’s bottom – some of it harmlessly bouncing off of Josh’s bubble.

The flurry of emotions Josh experienced was enough for Kristi to detect even though she wasn’t trying to. It was one thing to merely see his sister’s body and imagine her strength; it was another entirely to witness it firsthand; and it was even more intense to realize that Kristi was barely challenged at all by the feat.

Kristi slowly swung it around a bit. Even her massive form looked downright minuscule next to the cruiser. She considered bringing it up to the surface, but ultimately decided there wasn’t much point. After a minute or so, she placed it back down slowly and carefully, careful to not cause too disruption.

Satisfied, Kristi re-entered the bubble with her brother. “You enjoying the show?”

“I hate to admit it… but yeah.” Josh said, slightly embarrassed.

They continued traveling along the ocean’s floor. The creatures were simultaneously fascinating and terrifying. “How is it that oxygen isn’t a problem right now?” Josh asked, feeling a little panicked as he considered how long they had been in the enclosed capsule.

“The field is oxidizing us.” Kristi explained casually.

“Incredible.” Josh muttered, mesmerized by the sheer breadth of Kristi’s capabilities.

Suddenly a massive squid approached them. It took interest in the shining bubble of light, and the peculiar creatures inside of it. It took so much interest that it wanted to try its might on the thing, so it wrapped its staggeringly long tentacles around the sphere. With its limbs gripped against the shield, the squid exerted enough pressure to effortlessly crush a man to death, yet Josh and Kristi were fully protected.

“Just how strong are your shields anyways?” Josh asked, somewhat unnerved by the nearly mythological beast trying to kill them.

“Well… I was able to generate a bubble that could withhold a nuclear reactor exploding.” Kristi explained with a giggle.

“And let me guess, you’re a lot more powerful now?”

Kristi replied focused a bit on drawing even more strength from the PowerCore; she let out a groan of ecstasy, and all of her muscles began to grow again. Similar to last time she grew around Josh, it was a particularly powerful surge – spurred by a deep desire to impress her brother. The sound of muscle fibers tearing filled the confines of the bubble, and a greater level of heat began to radiate off of her.

Her eyes turned completely white, and she glanced down at her bicep, slowly flexing it as it gained even more mass. Kristi’s right arm’s bicep had grown so large that she could literally feel it with her right hand’s fingers. The split in her arm was so deep that it she essentially had two bicep heads within the muscle; and each half was far larger than all but the biggest of a regular mortal’s biceps. Even her forearm had bulges larger than a regular guy’s arm.

Kristi’s upper half became so staggeringly wide that it was easily three times broader than Josh’s. The muscles in her midsection defied all known human anatomy, forming a complex network of dizzying power. To accommodate her mass, Kristi’s height increased further – well above 7 feet; Josh, despite being fairly tall himself, now stood beneath her heaving bosom.

“How… how big can you get?” Josh asked.

Kristi shrugged, “You wanna find out?”

“K-kind of.” Josh turned bright red.

Kristi knew that Josh was heavily attracted to her body, and that there was little he could do about it. She accepted this, and would try to indulge his fantasies… within reason – anything incestuous was off the table.

“I’m tapped out for now, but I’m sure I’ll have some more growth tonight.” She said with a wink.

As Kristi’s muscles expanded ever-further, her telekinetically-held outfit increasingly failed to properly cover her up. Despite her supernatural efforts to manipulate the garments, the outline of Kristi’s perfect nipples and sex were fully visible.

“Might be time for some new duds.” Josh observed.

“Yeah…” Kristi replied, nervously scratching the back of her head – a network of thick tendons stretching in response. “Hmm… maybe I could make some out of the sea rocks nearby.”

“That would be pretty cool.” Josh said, stroking his goatee, “But I think I have an even cooler idea.”

“Oh yeah?” Kristi raised a brow.

“Yeah. You know those energy fields you can make?”

Kristi’s eyes lit up. “Way ahead of you.” She smirked before summoning forth a blue energy field and shaping it into a bikini-top. Kristi telekinetically placed it onto her immense chest.

“Nice idea.” She added with a wink. The energy-based garment was dazzling; it was made of pure solidified light, and had a glowing effect to it. With a thought, Kristi placed a large yellow ‘K’ in its center – though her watermelon sized breasts warped it significantly.

“Since it’s all made out of light, couldn’t you project the K outward?” Josh asked.

Kristi’s eyes lit up. “Damn Josh, your creativity is on point tonight.” She grinned before focusing a bit and doing precisely as he suggested: the ‘K’ now appeared a few inches in front of her.

Josh craned his neck around and noticed that it was a solid 3D object. It was kind of strange to look at, but he had to admit it was cool. Much more unique than any of the other Core Conduits’ outfits at least. “Maybe you should put a U around the K.” Josh suggested. “Like an emblem.”

“Why’s that?”

“For Ultra-Kristi, of course.” He explained.

“Hrm. I really liked simply being known as Kristi Evans. But I guess Ultra-Kristi has a better ring to it; plus I’m not really shying away from my human identity. Still, why not ‘super’?”

“Because you’re waaaaay past super.”

Kristi blushed a bit. Even if she had effectively unlimited power compared to Josh, she still liked being flattered by her older brother. She began fiddling with the design. Josh watched as it shifted around in real-time, going through various iterations. Eventually Kristi settled on one she liked best.

Next came her bottom, which was far simpler to design.

The end result was an outfit that was perfectly form fitting, though it still covered the specific details of her privates. It was also entirely breathable since it was composed of light. In fact, Kristi felt as if she were entirely naked; which she had to admit was nice.

During all of this, the giant squid continued its attempts to crush the bubble surrounding them.

“Alright big guy, time for you to go somewhere else.” Kristi said before heating up the exterior of the shield enough to sear the squid slightly, scaring it away – all without seriously injuring the creature, nor heating up the shield’s interior either.

The siblings mutually agreed they had their fill of the ocean, though they indicated a desire to explore it again sometime. Kristi ascended back to the surface. Even above the ocean, the energy bubble held firm, and Josh was met with the sensation of effectively standing in the air as Kristi navigated around.

She spotted an island nearby and landed there, finally deactivating the bubble. Josh took in a deep breath, and was surprised to find that he actually preferred the atmosphere of Kristi’s bubble to that of fresh air.

“So…” Kristi started, hands on her hips akimbo, “Any ideas for what to do next?”

“Hmmm… I kind of want to see you do something really crazy.” Josh replied.

“Really crazy?” Kristi raised a brow.

“Yeah like… lift up this entire island crazy.”

“Ooooh, now that’s an idea!”
