This story has nearly 14 minutes of PURE audio! (14:16 run time). And for the hardcore fans, there’s a digital deluxe upgrade that includes 38 minutes and 43 seconds of raw CC audio – along with the audacity projects I used to make the story!
Per usual, this is a very sound-effects heavy story, and as such both a with-effects and no-effects version of the story is included with your download!

-Synopsis-
After coming home from a run, a middle-aged wife finds a suspicious drink in the fridge. Certain that it’s simply a protein shake left by her husband, she chugs it down. Shortly after, she feels extremely energetic – so much so that she wants to try lifting weights for the first time in her life. To her surprise, lifting weights seems to be far easier than she imagined – in fact, her muscles seem to be growing instantly!

Making the with-effects version led me to manually add in “workout scenes” – these were designed with the sound effects playing at the same time in mind. As a result, the no-effects version can sound a little strange at points. To accommodate this, I’ve included two versions of the no-effects story: Arrange 1 is the exact same audio track present in the effects version (just with no effects), Arrange 2 is the pre-edited compiled no-effects track. Choose whichever you want, or listen to them both for a slightly different experience!
(No bass option this time because it wasn’t playing very well with the recording. Feel more than free to tweak the bass to your own choosing though! )
(Also there is a very very minor mathematical mistake with some of the numbers in the story… sorry in advance – chalk it up to the character’s inexperience with weights?)
